  Today I had been leaving my house to go get something to eat. When i walked outside however I noticed my exhaust hanging on its last leg, I immediately freaked out. I’ve had too many people around me and witnessed first hand what a hanging muffler and exhaust does, and no it’s not pretty. With this issue, i panicked because i have an inspection tomorrow. i immediately took my car to Mavis in Abingdon. They greeted me with very nice manners and very polite. I had waited about an hour for my car and that’s when Makai told me a screw was just loose and nothing big. Both Makai and Mike were very helpful today and fixed my car very quick and I couldn’t complain about the price. They saved me money and a ticket. Thanks Mavis, great service definitely will be back.

  I have used Firestone in Dover for many years. I had a bad brake job in the Spring. I knew I needed new brakes and rotors 4 months later. I was looking for a place to get them done. I saw all the great reviews about Mavis online so I scheduled an appointment that day. The staff confirmed that I needed new brakes and rotors. I was given a reasonable price and made an appointment for the next day. My brakes were done in an hour and the price didn’t change. I highly recommend this company!!

  William at Mavis was extremely helpful today. I brought my truck in because I suspected the alternator was failing due to issues with the ripple current and a new battery, but turns out that the battery just needed time before charging properly. With the old alternator out of the truck - rather than upsell or push a fix that wasn’t needed - William was honest about the working condition and had his crew put everything back without charging me a dime. I couldn’t recommend Mavis more. The staff is friendly and honest and I have never been attempted to be taken advantage of. Their work is solid and reasonably priced as well.

  Absolutely fantastic experience. Like a dummy I used metal (aluminum) screw-on tire caps on my Bronco Sport instead of the usual plastic ones bc I thought they looked better (apparently it’s a common issue for them to get permanently stuck; the cheap metal caps should be illegal honestly bc we had no clue this happens to everyone who uses them, yet they’re still sold everywhere). Well, they got welded on through natural corrosion due to weather and rust after only about 2 months of use. We were panicking, we made an appointment at Sheridan Ford, the guy there told us $550 per tire ($2000+ dollars!?!?) to get the caps off, as well as fix the TPMS (light wasn’t even on) and replace the tire valve stems. We laughed, drove off, and then watched a video on YouTube and ended up using a hacksaw and a flathead screw driver to pry them off after spraying PB Blaster. It took most of our morning. Well, in doing so, I shredded the tire valve rubber a bit and was panicking thinking I cut through too far. We went online and found an appointment same day at Mavis in Middletown (all of this today!) hoping to repair the issue and they were so kind. We thought we needed a whole new set of tires, but apparently I did less damage than I thought. This is where honesty, integrity, and kindness come in. Shout out to Ryan, Will, and Chase! Top of the line service and care. You’ve got new customers now and forever. The money we were worried we would be spending on a set of expensive new tires can now be paid forward to help someone else. We will not let this good karma go to waste thanks to your team. Thank you!!!!!

  I had a great experience with this Mavis on Saturday. I called in with a tire issue from road hazards and they were able to take me in as a walk in customer and I was fully back on the road in 20 mins. The technician Chase went above and beyond to take care of me and my vehicle and the repair exceeded expectations with everything put back the way it was before the road hazard incident. I appreciate this location very much and will be back!
