Receptionist was condescending and had a terrible attitude. Technician was professional and facilitating.

Was given the wrong glass with the wrong mounting bracket at first. Waited multiple weeks for the service to be completed properly. Technician was an excellent part of the process very nice guy. Overall was cut a nice deal for the delay and mistakes. Pretty sure the technician was Dustin.

Safelite was able to schedule my windshield replacement and my camera recalibration at a convenient time and location for me. The technician took excellent care of my vehicle; was polite and friendly; and explained the work that he would be doing on my car.

So I’m extremely frustrated with the way my appointment was handled by Keisha at the Safelite Dover location. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, December 19, and I received a call at the last minute, very close to 5 PM, basically right before closing. Keisha told me she checked the Apple Weather app and said there was a 95% chance of rain, and because of that, she wasn’t going to come out unless my vehicle was under a tarp or covered area so the technician could work. I understand weather concerns and I understand needing coverage—what I don’t understand is why this was handled so late in the day. If the appointment is tomorrow, why not confirm tomorrow morning when the forecast is actually accurate and then make arrangements? Calling customers at the end of the workday puts them in a corner with no time to plan, adjust, or even check schedules. After the call, I checked multiple weather sources. Apple showed 95%, but other sources showed something closer to 45%. That’s exactly why the timing and the approach were so frustrating—forecasts change, and this felt premature. I called back and asked Keisha if there was indoor availability at the shop. She said “no,” and then… nothing. No effort to help, no alternative suggestions, no reschedule options, no next available date—just silence. What makes this worse is that there were other options available (including shop availability on Saturday and even mobile availability), but none of that was offered to me. Because of the lack of communication and effort, my work order worth $1,029 was canceled—something that could have been avoided with basic customer service and scheduling support. This wasn’t just “bad weather planning,” it was poor communication, poor problem-solving, and a complete lack of professionalism. Safelite needs to do better. Calling a customer right before closing to push a cancellation, then offering no solutions, is not acceptable. Keisha either needs better training or shouldn’t be handling customer scheduling calls. 2024 Bronco Today is Friday below. You can see the availability for the next day on Saturday, which is not even offered to me.

I’ll start with I’ve had wrk done here b4 and no issue. This go around was the worst. They told me the could change my truck windshield at my home but than day of service that got changed to they didn’t have someone qualified to put that glass in they old of a truck and could I bring it in. Than the glass showed up scratched. They gave a discount on it. The seal job look like a 2 yr old did it (google needs to allow reviews to add pics to show) and the tech agreed to re do it. Once that was fix it than leak water. Than they told me when I call that they would fix it but it could be the innner seal (which they org said was fine and didn’t need replacement) took it back and than the next rain storm it leak again. The suggest it may of been the old inner seal. I try explaining that water do leak up than down if a seal is bad. They said they would call back once they figured out how to fix i do to they don’t replace inner seals cause it cost over 300. ( was org never told this but was told by the tech it was fine). After no word 3 days in I offer to buy all parts as I jst wanted water to stop getting in. They agree to fix it if I bought the parts. Parts were $86 once it was don’t I complain about the terrible seal job yet again that it look like a 2 yr old did it. They than told me there nothing more that they can do and refunded me my money for the windshield. So I’m grateful I got my money back but sucks I’m now stuck with a windshield that leaks and look very very horrible on the seal job. No I have to find another company that’s willing to fix there mistakes so far no one will I have to rebuy everything. Don’t recommend going back here
