  Basically fraudulent. Rented a BMW X6 from this location for a weekend. Returned the car with a full tank — which SIXT’s own return receipt confirms. Despite this, I was billed $261 for fuel at the $11.99/gallon penalty rate as if the tank were empty. The rental agreement also confirms I declined prepaid fuel. Three of SIXT’s own documents contradict the charge. Currently disputing. Double-check your receipts carefully before leaving.

  This was the best experience I had in a long time. The rep who helped me was amazing Kobe Bryant ready. She did not miss a beat you herrd. Being from DC we expect a certain level of service and she exceeded that no kizzy!!!

  I really wanted to like renting from Sixt. The experiences i’ve had renting from them overseas has been great. Unfortunately, this location was probably the worst experience i’ve had with them so far. First, let’s talk about the fact that the brakes on my rental were trash. They were well overdue for being changed. I had to slam on the brakes at one point and not only did they not grab, but the car shuddered as it stopped. Similarly when I rented a car from a different location on a trip to California, I was given a car with a dangerously low coolant level. This caused issues with our trip and we lost out on valuable time. In return? A whole $70-something voucher 🙄 Fast forward to my most recent experience renting from their Union Station location. I picked up the rental car on a Thursday evening to use for the weekend. When I was at the counter, I specifically asked the gentleman working there, “If I don’t get back until after hours on Sunday, will I be charged for an additional day?”. His answer was “No.” I returned my rental after hours on that Sunday (because for some reason they close at 1pm!? despite every other place staying open until 6, but whatever) doing exactly what I was instructed. On Monday morning I received my receipt and surprise, surprise, I was charged BOTH a $20 “Flexi-Late Return” fee AND A FULL EXTRA DAY. When I called their customer service to ask for a refund, especially given what I was told by their employee, I was told the best they could do was give me a refund for half the amount or give me the full amount as a voucher. Needless to say I took the half refund & will never be using them again. Zero stars. Zero.
