Friendly booth workers. Head through the station, up to the second floor and past and over the tracks if you're entering from the street.
Do not rent from this location if you can help it. As someone who rents fairly regularly, nothing comes close to how awful my experience was at this specific branch. I’m not sure whether it was the staff’s incompetence or their laziness that stood out more. As far as the vehicle goes, the exterior was filthy, interior was disgusting as well and reeked of cigarettes, extremely out of date model, and had noticeable damage, and gave it to me with a quarter tank of gas like it was okay. I was in a hurry so beggars cant be choosers, however I think I’m done with national after this instance. Shame on the management if that is the standard of customer service they deem acceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs. If I could leave zero stars I would.

For some reason, rental cars are not always available for reservations at National as well as other companies I have used in the DC area, during holidays. However, National will call to inform you. I especially love the customer service at the DC Union station location. They are very professional and flexible.
