  I like the service that was rendered at Monroe Auto Service and tire centers. The person in charge who sat at the front desk was awesome. He took my car in, had one of his associates checked it out then decided what was necessary to be done. He also called and let me know of other parts that needed to be fixed. I gave him the go ahead to fix them. I was happy that he did that because I did not want to be driving my car again and having more issues. I wanted it to be all set. He did a great job and I appreciate him for taking care of business.

  Great experience at Monro in Winsted. Steve did a thorough inspection, worked through warranty coverage with the seller, and went above and beyond to make sure the repairs were completed properly. There were some delays on parts out of his control, but Steve stayed on top of the situation, worked closely with his suppliers to expedite, and kept the car in the bay until everything was done. Communication was clear and frequent throughout, and it was obvious he genuinely cared. Honest, professional, and highly recommended.

  I had made an appointment for 11:30am for a simple oil change. I dropped my car off and was told $130, and about 45 minutes for the oil change. I had errands to run in the same shopping plaza, so that was convenient. I came back to pick up my car around the 45 minute mark to see my car up in the lift with all 4 tires off. When I walk in, I am immediately told "so we have a problem, one of the lug nuts snapped off your car when we took the tire off". I was pretty shocked and asked why they were even touching nevermind taking my tires off when I was there for a simple oil change. The guy at the desk told me, " we're under new management and now do a 120 point inspection, trying to improve their reputation." I replied that I never consented to that & he told me he isn't supposed to ask or mention it, so CUSTOMERS CAN NOT DECLINE!!!! Long story short.. I was trapped there for over three hours due to their negligence. I was promised a discount for my inconvenience- then told my total was $120. A little $10 discount, more like an insult. What totally gets me here though is that my check engine and my tire lights are on, and this was never even addressed, so what good was their whole 120 point inspection for if they didn't achieve anything from it besides a headache, bad Google review, and loss of a customer? Now I remember why I stopped going here years ago, and why they have such a horrid reputation.

  Alex was great. I showed up a 1/2 hour before closing with a nail in the tire and he handled it quickly so that I was able to get on the road bright and early. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

  I bought my tires here last November, and a year later one developed a slow leak. I brought The tire in today to have it looked at, I was pleasantly surprised that they did not charge me for repairing the tire. I have always had good service here.
