  I've rented over 200 days in the past calendar year from other Enterprise locations, and almost always have had great results. This was easily the worst rental experience in all my travels.

  Enterprise car rental is a JOKE! Not only am I owed over $2000 in deposits, but I was able to drive off the lot with a vehicle that didn't have a rental agreement. I called the enterprise office at the airport to extend my rental and they told me that my rental agreement for that vehicle had been closed out because the vehicle was returned the previous Tuesday. I was passed to someone else who continues to argue back and forth with me about a vehicle that was sitting in my driveway. The conversation ended with being told a regional manager will get back to me. Multiple days passed and no one reached out. When I called back days later I was given the same story, I had returned the vehicle, me rental agreement was closed out, and someone higher up would get back to me as there was nothing they could do. A manager never reached out and they refused to give me any rental agreement. How does a 2025 vehicle make it out of the lot without a rental agreement? customer service was nothing but rude, defiant, and arrogant. They made sure to take my money, and I still have not received my deposit back. Since November 2025 I have paid over $2000 in deposits and have not seen one penny back in return.

  A great location and the team there is amazing- very customer-focused and really works to make things right with a great attitude. I had an issue with my rental and they quickly were able to get things sorted and texted me with updates every step of the way- really appreciate this team and will always use Enterprise when working in Hartford

  BDL Enterprise: I can't guarantee this will be your experience, and I've never had an issue with Enterprise in my years of renting from them, but what they did on Saturday Morning on Jan 31st I'll never forget. They typically close at 11:30pm/mid-night, my flight from Dallas was seriously delayed which didn't allow me to land until 1am, after collecting my bag and expecting to sleep in the rental lounge area until they opened later on in the morning, to my surprise there was an representative of the name Shawn still working and got my car stupid late in the morning. I always post my flight numbers on my reservations, not sure that's how they knew my situation or not. I don't know if their management rewards hard working front-line employee's, typically from my experience they don't unless they're desperate for something, but they need to reward this rep. Not with a "that a boy" email! Having a dedicated staff like that is what keeps customers coming back.
