If you get a quote MAKE SURE IT IS EMAILED TO YOU AND CONFIRM BEFORE LETTING THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR.
I was charged about $50 over a quoted price for service, and that would've been fine if the tech lead said that it was an incorrect price and left it at that. No, instead he started insulting me by lying and saying the cost was actually double and I had already received a "special discount" and patronizingly lying that transmission fluid was "really expensive" like I don't know what transmission fluid is or how much it costs.
His manager tried to resolve the issue by throwing the call center team under the bus by calling them incompetent. He also said he "didn't know why" the tech lead would BS me by lying about a "special discount" that he confirmed was made up, and ultimately I never got a copy of the price I apparently signed for, since they waited till after they started work to review the costs and service. He said he'll give a 10% discount that ended up being just $10, and I just wanted to get out of there and get on with my day.
I left it be until one of these people called me and offered a $50 discount on an oil change. Why on earth would you call me back with another BS "discount". You might as well just call me an idiot then hang up.
The only reason I came here was because I'm a first time customer and I wanted them to have toyota transmission fluid at the ready without waiting on an order. I'm used to the upsell, but this was all so unnecessary and insulting.
If you are looking for shady car salesman Hoffman is your place to go! After I was screwed over by Hoffman Nissan I decided to go tomorrow Hoffman Toyota for a Highlander incentive I saw online. I was told the price would be a certain amount as advertised so I put down a deposit when I left the price magically jumped to an additional 300$ per month! I was refunded my deposit and it was not as easy as it should have been. The car salesman said” I know you’re not from around here” as if coming from Bristol was so low class in comparison to Avon.
First Class sales and service. Extremely happy with purchase and explanation of all options on car. Recommend Patrick. Will definitely be back soon for my wife's car.
