Brought my truck here for my routine oil change, I typically go to the New Britain location but I had to do stuff in west Hartford today. Angel was thorough and pointed out maintenance things that new Britain wasn’t telling me about. He changed my engine air filter, did power steering, and he did a fuel system treatment. And let me know I needed to schedule an appt with the dealer for a transmission service because they don’t have the oil at valvoline only the dealer has it. I’ll be coming to this location from now on

I really appreciate the service every time. I usually go to the Southington or Naugatuck location, but the West Hartford location was convenient for me when I left work, and the service was just as great.

By the second time I drove my truck afterward, started getting Low Oil warning. Never had that happen, having this vehicle 6 years. About 5 days later, I was able to go back here for them to check the levels, found I had a bad oil leak around the filter housing. Took to a service center and cost me $1500 to replace oil cooling lines. Staff didn't believe it related to faulty workmanship, but I'll never be convinced that oil cooling lines coincidentally went bad a drive or two after this oil change..
- MMMar4 days ago1.0I repeat no dont give this place business. BAD BUSINESS. THEY CONVINCED ME BUY A NEW BATTERY AND THEY DID NOT PROPERLY MOUNT IT AND SECURE THE BATTERY DOWN. IT WAS VERIFIED BY 2 SOURCES, ONE BEING ANOTHER VALVOLINE THAT THE BATTERY WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED DOWN AS MY CAR SHUT OFF ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE I WAS DRIVING WHEN I CALLED TO EXPLAIN TO THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THERE TELLING ME THAT IT WAS DONE PROPERLY AND THAT THEY'RE NOT GOING TO GIVE ME ANY TYPE OF COMPENSATION FOR MY HASSLE. MANGER MANNY IS RUDE THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT SPEND UR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!! FRAUDULENT BUSINESS!!!! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PLL I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE UR MONEY!!!!

I got a oil change in august from a different location used a Groupon coupon and my total was just under $60 how I get my oil change done yesterday and paid $90 at this location all because he told me at my last visit I did full synthetic oil (that wasn’t the case) he just lied to charge me extra on top of the Groupon coupon I bought. Never coming to this location again clearly I see how they get their business. I’ll stick to the location that doesn't see me just as a number.
