- PBPaige BrennanMar 30, 20264.0I have been a customer of my local Monro for 10 years. I won’t go back there again. I brought my car there on 2/4, it ended up needing a new engine. They had to send the car to another Monro location over an hour away. The mechanic who worked on the car at that location was wonderful, but it ended up costing significantly more than the original estimate(not his fault, the first estimate at the original Monro was incomplete) , and there was no way to get the car back to the original shop so now I have to take an Uber an hour away to go pick up my car. EDIT: To be fair, I have to make an edit… The managers - of both the original shop that I brought the car to and the shop that it was towed to - worked together to get my car back to me at no additional cost. I am very grateful for that. They were both very professional and apologetic in trying to get the issue fixed for me. Their diligence has won back my business.
