  Asked the dealership to check a Hyundai hybrid vehicle that had been garaged for about a year. I specifically asked them to check the high voltage battery life and the rotors. They tried to sell me new rotors for $1400!!! I went for second opinion and found out actually nothing wrong with rotors. Also Torrington Hyundai said nothing wrong with my battery when in fact it was seriously depleted charge and needed replacement but probably they didn’t want to bother with a warranty covered replacement. Horrible service and experience. I wish I had read all the other one star reviews before wasting my time going to this unethical rip off joint.

  I brought my car in because the check engine light was on and paid for a diagnostic scan. They scanned the vehicle, did not fix anything, and returned my car with the check engine light still on. What makes this worse is that the issue I originally told them about turned out to be exactly what was wrong, so the scan accomplished nothing. Despite my car being under 40,000 miles and still under warranty, I was charged $207 just for the scan, which should not have happened. I was told I would receive a follow-up call regarding the parts needed for the repair. I never received a call. My messages went unanswered, and my calls were not returned. I was left with no update, no repair, and a charge on my bill. This experience felt extremely unprofessional and disorganized. Garrett, the associate I dealt with, was particularly frustrating to work with. He repeatedly claimed he would call me back and did not. When on the phone with him the one time I did get a hold of him I had questions about the charge because I was confused, he was joking around instead of clearly explaining the situation. He also asked how old I was during the call?? Which was completely inappropriate, in what should have been a professional interaction. Rather then explaining things clearly I was joked with then ignored! I paid for a service that did not resolve the problem, was charged despite my vehicle being under warranty, and then was ignored when trying to follow up. I would not recommend working with this service department based on my experience.

  I had an incredible experience here! After going to multiple dealerships this was by far the best! Mike K went above and beyond and Mike L was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient! I am so happy with my new car! Other places need to take a page out of their book as far as customer service and efficiency!
