  Go across the street to a real mechanic like Firmins! Third time in a row that I have scheduled an appointment, shown up, and they either don't have record of it or make an excuse as to why they can't take me that day. I live locally and have consistently brought all 4 of my vehicles here for years. The work was already mediocre and over priced, but the location was convenient for oil changes and tire rotations. Simply a poorly operated business. Lost a loyal customer here.

  This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I specifically called Customer Support before coming to confirm whether this location was open on Christmas Eve. I was clearly told that the shop was open until 3:00 PM and that I could come in. When I arrived and stepped inside to approach the counter, a man immediately started yelling at me in an aggressive and hostile manner, shouting “Stop, keep your distance.” I was completely confused and asked what was happening, but instead of explaining calmly, he continued to shout, saying they were not working, that he had COVID, and that I was not allowed to come closer. There was absolutely no respect, no professionalism, and no basic human decency in the way he spoke to me. No apology, no calm explanation — just yelling and commands, as if I were doing something wrong by simply walking into a business I was told was open. When I mentioned that Customer Support confirmed they were open until 3:00 PM, he said he “didn’t know anything about that” and that he would call the manager to close the location

  Went in for Rear brake service on my 2010 Ford Sport Trac. Rear pads were metal to metal. Technician checked front and found same problem. Recommended new pads and rotors. I had the tech do the work. Perfect results. I needed my truck and I was out of service center in 2 1/2 hours. Thanks guys.

  I had a very positive experience here. Walk in with a flat tire, and the tech checked to see if it was repairable ( it wasn't).. and gave me several options, then replaced them in a timely manner..... 👍👍. Will use again

  I can’t thank the team at Monro of East Lyme enough. I got a flat tire on my Tesla and couldn’t get an appointment at the Tesla service center for 2 weeks but I drive for work. The tires were hard to find, and the Monro staff found the tires I needed and brought them to me. I was driving again in 3 hours after I towed my car. I couldn’t believe how far above and beyond they went to get me back on the road quickly.
