  Needed car battery and install asap! Autozone was the only place near me with the right battery and free install when I got there. Little pricey on the battery but it needed to be done. The guy installed it and worked on two other cars in between. So I was satisfied with how quick it got done with the mini rush of customers that were there.

  Update 3/24/26: this was intended to be a 5+ star the entire time, sorry! Thanks again Dave for the AMAZING WORK AND TEAM YOU HAVE IN NEW LONDON, CT!!! Keep up the great work, and keep growing your team, they are wonderful! Dave, the Store Manager, was AMAZING!!!! After a horrible experience at the Groton Auto Zone yesterday - 3/17/26 (see Groton, CT Google reviews), Dave found me the correct rotors for my car and got them ordered. Thank you so much for righting the wrong of another store! He should go over to the Groton store and do some housekeeping! And train or terminate a few people there, and get that location back in line with Auto Zone’s values and customer service.

  TL;DR: 1) Staff will go above and beyond. 2) Check your receipt before you leave the store. I picked up two loaner tools totaling almost $350 from there on Friday 3/6/26 and returned them on Saturday 3/7/26. I didn't actually look at the receipt from the return in the store which would have prevented all of this but only one of the tools were processed as a return. Both were scanned so I assume it was probably a glitch in the system. Within a day or two the return for the one item had processed on my account which I thought was kind of weird but I gave the benefit of the doubt for the other item to hopefully process shortly after. I gave the return a week and still nothing so I called the store this morning 3/14/26 and explained my side of the situation. I had nothing to prove that I had returned both tools and figured at this point I was out $150 and had no tool to show for it. After about an hour of the staff scouring all of their shelves they were able to locate the tool. Once they located it, they called me immediately to inform me and to process the return. Most stores in my opinion would have maybe looked once and called it a lost cause. Not this AutoZone though. They checked all of their shelves three times until it was located. Will definitely recommend and continue to use this store but will definitely check my receipt before I leave any store again.
