  Charging $40 for a lost ticket is excessive and out of touch. This policy feels less about covering costs and more about exploiting a common mistake. Because I actually had a validated ticket from my orange theory class but I had misplaced it so this makes this quite financially painful. You think your going to get a work out and your actually going somewhere to be fleeced like sheep in the middle of winter by a predatory parking garage.

  I've had multiple parking subscriptions over the years, but without question LAZ Parking takes the cake for the worst service I have ever seen. LAZ Parking is the vendor used by the The Audubon for the parking provided to its residents, and I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone take the risk with their vehicle, their property, and personal safety by choosing to park their car at an LAZ location (they have multiple throughout New Haven, and beyond). During my tenancy, LAZ Parking subscribers were subject to frequent break-ins of their vehicles, theft of property therein, and a lack of personal safety in the parking lot because LAZ Parking chose not to undergo the expense of installing a thoroughly integrated CCTV system or place a security guard at the front gate for many many months until at last they acquiesced to residents' pressure. They also take every opportunity to overcharge you for services not rendered. Please be safe and park your car somewhere other than at an LAZ location in New Haven.
