  We came in today with the intention of purchasing the Volkswagen buzz , I can’t believe the rudeness of the Older gray haired salesman seated to the left when you walk in , completely brushed us off Like he couldn’t be bothered. Needless to say, we will be taking our business to executive Volkswagen North Haven. They were so much more polite.

  There is better (so much), just drive on by! I always buy used vehicles and this was the worse experience I've ever had. Communication was awful, car was clean but never detailed prior to picking up. The outside of the vehicle looked like it was washed with a dirt sponge. Used car Manager knew I was unhappy and was in the building when I picked up the car, never bothered to speak to me. Morning after picking up the car it was stuck in my driveway. Shorted battery which showed signs of trouble during purchase process and I had Iasked to be checked out. Battery was spewing vapors on ride home which was gagging my child. There is more, but you get the picture. A few bright spots, service manager stepped up and corrected a handful of issues and was awesome in the process. Finance department was also helpful and did what they could to salvage the deal. These two positives bring the experience to 2 stars. Never received a follow up call after purchase, they make the sale and are done with you. This was supposed to be a special moment surprising my son with his first car. It was anything but. They knew it, didn't care. My recommendation is that if you're looking for something other than an Infinity, give this place a hard pass. For the record, my review covers Harte used cars in Hartford only.

  Cory and the Harte Chevy Team found me a few options that fit my needs very well and beat all the other prices on the same vehicle. The trust and confidence of the employees was apparent and comforting as well, you can tell they care about the customer as much as their profit.
