Do not ever get your tires done at this place ever. I got 4 brand new tires 3 months ago on a 4 wheel drive car, the 2 back tires are now completely bald I drove the car for 5000 miles and the tires are completely bald.
The issue was the car alignment was way off but when I got the tires they said they checked my car everything is good and I don’t need an alignment done this was at around 5pm so I said okay, 2 months later tires bald i take it to my dealership and the alignment is way out way way way out no wonder the tires are bald.
I call Monro and I tell them I just got 4 new tires 3 months ago and they’re bald already and they tell me I refused to get an alignment done so it’s my own fault? That’s ridiculous when one of your workers said I don’t need one done so ofc I trusted him and said fair enough I’ll take your word for it, never did I think these snakes probably couldn’t be bothered doing an alignment towards the end of the day so just told me whatever to get me out the shop.
I don’t know how this business is still open when their operating like this but I repeat, do not ever go to a Monro especially not this one and if you do get your alignment done no matter what (if they even know how to do one) or you’re gonna be back 3 months later paying another 1300 dollars for a set of new tires.

This place takes advantage of people. Had a friend go here and have the same experience. If you don’t have a lot of knowledge about cars DO NOT GO, they will make you pay extra and cause damage to your car. Got a brake change here that was over $1500 for a 2007 honda. Not only were the workers rude, he was extremely pushy about an issue my car had never had before after the brake change- he kept finding things wrong despite that not being what I was in for; and began charging me labor for observing issues that were not what I went in for. I told him I just wanted the brake change because my car was having zero other issues whatsoever and the next day my car left this place it coincidentally broke- MY NEW BRAKES DIDNT WORK. And I was charged an additional $350 for them to fix something they had done the day before. Absolutely rude and ridiculous, avoid this chain and support a local mechanic. My car had extensive damages and needed a brake change again not even a year later due to how poor the work was, not to mention how expensive.

I was very disappointed and I feel I cannot trust Monroe to service my vehicle. I did not have a good experience at all. I brought the vehicle in because I was only getting heat on the passenger side and not on the driver side. I also complained of an oil smell when the car is running. They took a look at the car and told me I needed a valve cover a thermostat and blender activator. My bill came to $1161. When I came to pick up the car I didn’t even have enough gas to get to the gas station. It was way below. E and I know I had more gas in there. I barely made it to the gas station. When I picked up my car, the girl at the desk who claims she’s a manager told me that I needed an oil filter housing and it would cost over $1000 an additional thousand dollars. I asked her why didn’t anybody call me while the car was being serviced and being repaired. Why didn’t somebody tell me that this oil filter housing needed to be done? If someone called to tell me that there was a problem, I would’ve had them do the work right then in there . She could not give me an answer. I feel now I have to bring the car back in the shop to get this oil filter, Housing. I thought the valve cover would take care of this, but my car still smells like burning oil. When I got the invoice, I noticed that there was a note that these parts were declined by the customer, which was not true at all. They never told me about any additional work that needed to be done until I picked up the car..

Had an appointment at the 1:30 for a high mileage oil change. Was told someone called out and the guys were doing bigger jobs. 3 oil changes ahead of me so it will be 2-3 hours. Was able to get an appointment asap at Meineke (across the street) Worth paying a tiny bit more for the professionalism. I called to cancel the appointment with Monro, was told to wait until the shop supervisor answered which they never did. A 2 minute conversation turned into a 10 minute conversation for no reason, just cancel the appointment.

I came to monro for a simple oil change and it was a very pleasant and easy experience. No hassle, reasonable waiting times, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I would for sure recommend this location for your car maintenance if you don’t want to haul all the way to a dealership.
