For many years I heard this was the place to go for transmission problems, and recently I found out why. Brian and Paul towed my car from my home to their shop, replaced the transmission for a great price, with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty, that they will stand behind. They are good guys, great service, very fair price, and the job was done on time. I'm very happy to have met these guys, and feel very good about my decision to go with them! Highly recommend!

I knew I was at the right place when I walked in and saw a giant image of my "black sheep" on the wall. Soooo here we go...
In late summer of 25, my tranny started to slip from 4th to fifth, and slam from first to second, in my 06 Audi S4 Cabriolet. Im a car girl and I already knew. I first took her to my regular shop, just to confirm.. Yup, muddy, stinky fluid, with alot of metal "dust". I operate a transportation company, and I burn through 10+ vehicles a year, so I took my baby to my regular tranny shop, who is a big competitor to Capitol. Well, Jay ay my regular shop told me that he couldn't rebuild the tranny, because he couldnt program it, but he did refer me to Paul at Capitol, his competitor. Ok, thats huge. So it took him some time for the rebuild, but I understand the difficulty of the job on these machines, and to be honest, dont rush your mechanic, its like pissing off your waiter before getting your food. Dont do it!
My car is a project for me to rebuild, and modify. (Audi people will know). She is 20 years old, and when I brought her in, I knew it needed a few more big dollar repairs for these cars. (small exhaust leak by the manifold, and front cv axle boot, and control arms which has all been replaced with upgrades) When I picked her up, Paul asked me to drive it for a bit before writing a review. I can only assume that its because he didnt know that I was aware of the other issues beforehand, and didn't want to be the bearer of bad news, and I understand that.
Well, so far there are no issues with the rebuild, and her tranny feels better then ever. She is ready for show season, and im excited for this season's charity runs (dream rides being my favorite).
My regular tranny shop isn't going to be around for too much longer from what I hear, so Capitol will be where I will bring my fleet vehicles when that happens moving forward. Thank you Capitol, you will see me again soon with more work.
