Laura at CCI made the process very easy. She explained everything in such detail. Before we left she made sure that I was familiar with how to operate the device. Highly recommend!

The sales lady explained prices that later on were different she did not state I had to pay for shipping and handling for the device, calibration prices and installation prices are on the high end of $239 for a device that looks like the 1980's no discreteness and no mounting base. After I had the device installed it is the wrong one for my state. I addressed this to her via phone and email and her responses was to contact customer service not her. Sales customer service needs to get more training they all say different responses to my answers except Aaron who was the last representative I spoke with on January 31, 2025. Contracting companies used that are not aware of DUI laws and regulations of each state should not deal with customers in these types of situations they are not treating people well or respect they are unprofessional and judgemental . They do not know this is like being on home probation and the amount of money needed to get your life back on track especially family problems loss of jobs and not being able to find a job. Courts fees and lawyers & classes are extremely high prices. Alcoholism is a sickness. So not every one of these Companies should be installing these devices especially not Sound Craft of Waterford, CT. Julie Scrignoli in sales does not like to help the customer ordering the wrong device stated wrong prices and has no sensitivity to anyones questions and concerns. Intoxalock monthly prices are high which takes anyones means to pay for food or bills in these times of problematic situations & living inflations.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
