After an incident of fraud I went to Meineke in Fairfield (94 Kings Highway East) and they confirmed that Valvoline had not changed my oil filter and that my car's fluids did not need topping off. The only issue with Meineke is that you need an appointment for an oil change and that it can take up to an hour to complete (they inspect the car as part of the service). Avoid Valvoline.
