My reserved van was given away without any prior notice—no call, no email, and no explanation. When I arrived at noon, I was told that all the vans had been recalled and that none were available anywhere nearby. This turned out to be untrue, as I eventually found a van at the West Springfield location. Because of this, I lost valuable time and money. My reservation was supposed to be ready at noon, but I did not secure a vehicle until 5:30 PM in West Springfield and was not able to leave until 7:00 PM. This delay completely disrupted my schedule, putting me hours behind. What made the experience worse was the lack of effort from the Enfield staff. They did not attempt to help me find another vehicle, did not contact nearby branches on my behalf, and offered no apology or compensation. I was left to handle the problem entirely on my own. This level of service is unacceptable. I will not be returning to the Enfield location and cannot recommend it to anyone. I hope this feedback prompts serious improvements in communication, honesty, and customer support.

If I would’ve known that, I would’ve selected something else or booked with someone else. The gentleman at the counter was a sweetheart and tried to make things better hence the two star review. I was given a lesser car at a discount, which was nice. However, the car was dirty and whoever detailed it on the inside did a lacklustre job. I had to walk past shiny examples of this car to get to the one I was given. For me, the car rental is to experience something I might want to purchase in the future and for the sheer joy of driving something new and fun. I had already experienced what I ended up with. I would have to think hard before renting another car through Enterprise.
