  We are very loyal to Gengras - it's an all around fantastic dealership! Lola in the sales department has been helpful through purchasing and leasing many cars!l - She is the best and understands our needs. Ericka in finance is super helpful in explaining every nuanced detail in the car buying process. Mike in the service department is super helpful in explaining the services needed. Leilani was also super great today teaching me about the new technology in my xc90 - overall a fantastic dealership!

  This has honestly been the best experience buying a car I have ever had. I have bought four Volvos in the past, all from different dealerships. This is my first experience either Gengras Volvo. We chose them because 1. They gave us the highest trade in value for our super low mileage 2022 Volvo based on vin number and service records 2. Looked for the exact car we wanted from other dealers and applied all deals and incentives for best price. 3. Provided excellent communication via phone and texts for a smooth transaction. When it was time to pick up our vehicle, it was great to finally meet Jola in person for the first time, as she did everything we needed on the phone. Leilani was SO AWESOME.. showing me everything I need to use my car to its fullest ability . This is my third xc60, and the very first time anyone explained the software to me ever! Leilani made everything easy and is such an asset to Gengras.. every dealership should have her! Erica was also super nice, and although we didn’t finance our vehicle, she was great to meet with. All and all, the employees at Gengras are fantastic and they have the best selection and pricing in all of Connecticut. So glad we finally found them!!

  I am appreciative of both Mike and Andy in the service department as they (A) Worked through my scheduling mixup error and got my car looked at and (B) Always treated me with respect and understanding. I also had a great initial experience with Dom in sales and even gave him a handwritten note of appreciation back when I purchased my XC90. I share this because I am someone who is far more likely to praise and appreciate vs. provide constructive criticism. That said, I was completely disrespected by Peter the Service Manager, who treated my inquiry into why my Park button has been a little finicky since Day 1 of purchase as a crime scene investigation and proceeded to show me pictures of evidence that food and drink had once been consumed in my car as though it were some smoking gun that I had been the cause of the issue. I am an honest person and a loyal customer despite having a closer Volvo dealership option so for this to be the approach that was taken instead of a measured, mature conversation about the Park button and my options was beyond disappointing. I then ran into numerous issues trying to get the remote start setup (e.g. keys not registering despite both being in the car). Given the number of software issues, management might consider additional tech-savvy support on site. Andy did his best to make a bad situation better and I am grateful for that but would want others to be aware of possible service pitfalls.

  Thank You Brandy! I had an excellent experience at Gengras Volvo in East Hartford. I called on Monday, scheduled a visit for Tuesday, and after seeing the car and completing a test drive, I picked it up on Saturday with plates and everything ready. The process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I purchased a 2019 Volvo S60, and it looked spotless, truly like new, when I arrived for pickup. The vehicle drove perfectly and matched exactly what I was hoping for. Brandy was outstanding throughout the entire experience. She guided me step by step, answered every question, and made the purchase completely stress free. The finance manager and the manager were also very helpful, ensuring all the documents my bank required were handled quickly. The final paperwork took only minutes. I received a fair price, great service, and a very positive buying experience. I look forward to working with Brandy again in the future.
