  Bought a brand new 2023 mako 17 pro skiff and the one I looked at and was supposed to but ended up not being the same boat and it was obvious because the front hatch was not level and didn’t close correctly compared to the one I was told I was buying, within 2 weeks the floor started to chip and come off but they said they wouldn’t warranty it because of some bullshit gel, had a trolling motor and fish finder installed and all the screws are stripped and are backing off immediately, the rear left trailer light wouldn’t work and they did nothing about that either, the box that connects the trolling motor positive cable was and still is completely rusted out nuts, and there was a few other things also. And this was all brought to the service advisor’s attention from day one of me buying the boat. I find these things unexceptional from a place I dropped almost 30 grand with! I will be doing all my service somewhere else because of how I was treated the entire time as soon as I signed the paperwork for the boat.

  Made a new firearm purchase, the gentleman who initially helped me was very kind and knowledgeable, however the man who processed my paperwork was the complete opposite- rude and very unfriendly. This is definitely making me rethink my future purchases at this location. As someone who works in customer service… do better, much better.

  UPDATE: the gm at bass pro reached out and made things right by me. thanks again to the bass pro & tracker staff. BE WEARY BUYING USED BOATS HERE. purchased a 07 bass boat a few weeks ago from the tracker marine at cabelas in east hartford. i was hoping buying a boat at a reputable dealer vs a private seller i could avoid all issues. wrong. i was told by my sales person wade that my boat was fully tested & will be detailed for me when i pick it up ( this was communicated to me in person and in a written email.) when i received my boat and brought it home the first thing i noticed was the bad spare tire ( the listing said “good spare tire”) i communicated to them that my spare tire was bad and they offered no real solution ( a discounted tire tha was the wrong size) . fast forward a few weeks i really get into the boat. it is a mess. old plastic worms trash in the hatches, grime and sand everywhere, trolling motor and navigation lights not working. i have so far spent 3 days fixing the wiring and cleaning the boat. i reached out to wade again stating my concerns and asking why the boat was not detailed when he told me several times it was. again they offered no solution and said used boats are sold as is. don’t be like me do your due diligence test everything and don’t hand over the check until they hold up there end of the bargain. i have been a bass pro club member for 5 years and i expected much much better from tracker. they dropped the ball. very disappointing as bass pro shop is one of my favorite places to shop.

  I bought a new tracker pro guide 16WT and had a great experience in 2025. I brought it back to have the motor serviced and have an on board battery charger installed. When I picked up the boat it was filled with water. My hatches are all funky now for some reason a close funny. The carpet is coming off of certain areas. The craftsmanship was as awful as it could be. I found the access panel at the bow to have stripped screws and was replaced crooked. They ran one of the on board battery charger wires unsecured through the rod locker and now my rods hang up on the wires every time they go in. Now that it’s starting to warm up outside, I have discovered all this. I’m so disappointed. They clearly did a terrible job installing this on board charger and treated my brand new boat like it was trash. The bill was HUGE and I expected the work to match the price I paid. I feel ripped off. I will never have them work on any boat I own ever again. I highly recommend you never bring a boat here to get work done.
