    Wow! As a Cheshire resident, I have frequented this location for many many years and this crew of employees far exceeded my expectations. Not only were they kind and not pushy, they were sincere and honest mechanics. As a female, for one of the first times in my life, I did not feel taken advantage of. This place is five stars. I’m submitting this in January 2026.

    Horrendous customer service. Repairmen couldn’t fix a minor mechanical issue, which is fine, they recommended a body shop, but they kept me waiting for two days with no update. I had to call THEM TWICE before someone finally called me back. When I picked up the car, I had a new obvious dent on my tailgate that wasn’t there before. The employee was indifferent and offered no explanation or even attempt at addressing the situation. He barely acknowledged it. When I asked for his manager’s contact info, he handed me a card with the shop’s phone number. I called, spoke to the same employee who clearly had no interest in helping me, I had to request that he write my phone number down, and I never received a call back. Clearly zero interest in keeping my business, when I’ve been a customer several times before.

    Don’t bother making an appointment online - did it twice and twice the wait time was insane. Ended up leaving (manager did apologize. Mostly a first come, first serve) Also, have I been sleeping under a rock - $179.00/hr is insane!!

    Overall, my experience was very disappointing. I was significantly overcharged, and the communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I was told my car would be ready the next day, but when I called for an update, I learned it hadn’t even been touched. No one returned my calls before closing, and the next morning, I still received no update. I was then told the car had been finished the night before. Still, the most concerning part was discovering that an employee had taken my car off the lot to another location for balancing without my knowledge or consent. This was completely unacceptable and made me very uncomfortable.

    I had an appointment that was 7:30 am-9:30 am. My text confirmation stated 7:30-11:00 am. It wasn’t until after 3:00 pm when I was called to confirm the work that was to be done and told the car would be ready in an hour/hour and a half. The wrong part was ordered, and the car wasn’t ready until after 6:00 pm. The excuse was they got busy, though I had the first appointment of the day. The manager was defensive and rude. I will say they took $100 off the bill. But I wouldn’t recommend Monro.
