Adrian was very knowledgeable and helpful answering all my questions clearly and with patience. I recommend CJ Auto Mall for all your installs and service. I’m not a review person but after the service I received I had to acknowledge good work when I see it. Well done people!!

Absolutely the worse! I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone I know and I know alot of people! This company are SCAMMERS!!!!
So I called this company in the hopes they would be extremely transparent with me because I do not appreciate being bamboozled and lied to for profit. The agent told me there was a promotion that was going on and it would only cost me $29.99 plus tax to get this started. I also asked for the payments to be monthly because it would be very beneficial for me and my budget. She told me that would be fine. My installation was done on January 2. Mind you the auto shop I went to already had the IID device on hand. I saw the box with my own 2 eyes. So nothing was shipped from this company. So as I waited for the installation to finish. I went and downloaded the app. Here is where the problem started. First off, my card was stored after I specifically told the woman that I am doing a one time payment on a specific card. Please do not store it. I will put a different one for autopay.
Second issue, the payments was NOT monthly but biweekly instead. When you are on a fixed income, you pay every bill you have on a specific day because it is easier to manage plus you dont get hit with double dipping of taxes being charge on your payment. I was told that my monthly would be no more than $110 a month. Lies, $125 a month.
Third issue, I called to speak to an agent in regards to this biweekly payment schedule and she stated to me thst there was no such thing as that and since the account was made there was no way to change it to monthly. I told her all of this is extremely inconvenient. I just paid the autobody shop $280 to intall this IID DEVICE, paid the State of CT DMV $175.00 to restore license and $100.00 for the IID device fee. Mind you this is extreme.
So the woman tells me the biweekly is 64.10 and its due on January 16th. I said okay but how does that help when I specifically asked for monthly. Long story short. I have to pay $64.10 on January 16. I verified it several times with the agent thats all I had to pay on January 16th and she said yes.
Now here's the new problem. I got charge an additional 62.20 in less than a week. My original paperwork never stated i would be charge for additional fees.
I called this company and this agent had the audacity to tell me Im being charge now $126.30 ($64.10 thats due January 16 plus $62.20 for setup fee, device lease charge AGAIN, device protection fee AGAIN)
Now mind you its only been 9 days since the installation and they decided to change all the paperwork online because they dont want to be accountable for lying to me. When I asked what the setup fee charge was. The agent told me its for them making the account. Im not paying anyone to make an account. Thats stealing.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY WILL COME UP WITH ANY EXCUSE TO CHARGE YOU MORE AND FOR ANYTHING, MAKING BIGGER HOLES IN PEOPLE'S POCKETS.
Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.

Installing an ignition interlock device typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on your vehicle type. Certified technicians ensure the device is properly installed and provide you with training on how to use it. Contact Intoxalock for an appointment and an accurate time estimate for your installation.
What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
Can I install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle I don’t own?
