- ZTZack TAug 17, 20251.0Needed a quick charge. Took my credit card no problem. It immediately ended session then said the cost would be $3.11. It charged my credit card $55 dollars, which is like a deposit that they will refund in a few days. Without disconnecting, I tried to start another session because I needed to charge car. It did the same thing again and it immediately ended session, charged my credit card another $55 and said the cost would be $3.11. My car had not gained a single percentage in battery. I called the 800 number on the machine and waited on hold. I moved to the machine next to it, it charged my credit card another $55 then charged my car for 20 minutes no problem. The lady on the phone said she couldn’t remove the first two charges and that I would have to wait 3 days or so for the $165 in deposits to return, before I could ask for a refund for the first two dud sessions. I called back 3 days later after the deposits returned and then they asked me to send them a screenshot of my credit card statement and open a case to send to escalations. They then told me they would be contacting me in 24 to 48 hours. A few days later they sent an email with more questions. A few days later, they said they would refund $6.22 for the two dud sessions within 7 to 10 days. A week later, they refunded $3.11 for only one of the two dud sessions. Not worth it to call them back again. This was my introduction to EVgo.

- JPJessica PennellMay 13, 20243.0Google maps lies about where this is. Once you are stranded here with almost no battery, punch in Famous Dave's. You will drive north, ignore the beeping, it lies to you for about 400 feet then starts being honest. Once at Famous Dave's look across the street to the west and you will see the station. The station itself is that same mediocre quality you expect out of EvGo except unlike the charger at 100th and Washington the Chademo works.
- MMMatt MorrisMay 16, 20233.0The pin is not at all correct, it’s actually located by the Taste of Philly. Also the CHAdeMO charger might get stuck in your car, so make sure to get it fully seated so it will release correctly.
