Marcus was absolutely the best, after quite a few troubles with my headlight, he was right on which one I needed and helped me install it on my ever problem giving jeep. He definitely needs a raise! Thank you!!!!!!!

Last week I had a deeply unsettling experience at this location recently with an employee named Joshua. I stopped in for a simple purchase of air fresheners, but the transaction became a confrontation when he became obsessed with getting my phone number for the rewards program. Despite me clearly stating three separate times that I did not want to join or provide my information, Joshua became increasingly aggressive. He insisted he "couldn't finish the transaction" without it. which is completely false. His refusal to respect my boundaries and his hostile persistence were unprofessional and intimidating. I checked my receipt afterward to confirm his name, and I want to make it clear that as a woman, being harassed for personal contact information in a retail setting is a major safety concern. Management needs to review Joshua's conduct immediately. his behavior is totally unacceptable. I will not be returning to this store if he is behind the counter. This is my dads go to for auto parts.

Visited this store February 6th at 3:21 p.m. receipt says the cashier was Joshua. He asked for my phone number but I did not want to give it to him and he insisted I do. I told him I would not and he said he had to punch in a random number and I said that was okay with me. He complained about it a little bit more and I told him I still won't give him my phone number and he was very rude. He said he didn't have any pennies so he shorted me a dollar, just noticed as I left. Don't recommend going here if you get harassed like this

My battery needed to be replaced so just like it was done for my car before I took it to auto zone to get a new one and have it installed. I got there, had it tested to confirm it needed to be replaced, (it did.) I then had to leave because there was no one there that could do it. A few hours later I returned and was told that they would not do battery replacements on jeeps as it had a extra bolt that takes 20 minutes alone to get off.
So I left, went to advanced auto parts, there Marcus and Amare told me no problem and replaced mine in about 5 minutes and I was all good. Will definitely be taking all my business here in the future.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
