- SPStephen PadgetteOct 1, 20251.0Since Maverik took over the Kum & Go in Silverthorne, CO, it has gone downhill fast. Men’s restroom was dirty, the hand dryer ripped off the wall and a roll of damp paper towels on the counter. Every coffee machine was slimy and covered with scummy milk, and the counters were filthy. Overflowing garbage cans surrounded the food areas, with one in the middle of the aisle. Two guys were working on the store and they clearly had no instructions from management to keep the store clean. This location has turned into a dump, and the management clearly doesn’t care.

We drive through Silverthone once a week to get to Denver and this used to be a good gas station. But the last 10-12 times we've stopped, it just seems to get worse. Today the men's room was actually upsetting. Only one toilet, floor covered in urine, toilet hadn't been flushed probably all day. When the conditions were brought to the attention of the employees we were met with attitude and told they are too busy. This location needs serious attention and soon.
