  If i could do no stars I come through Silverthorn and stop at this location quite often since it's been remodeled. The service has been awful ever since. They're always out of everything that i'm looking for when I come in. I stopped for nachos, ask the clerk if he could help me get some jalapeno cheese. He was very rude had explained he was busy and if I would give him 10 minutes and he would be right with me, so I stood there waiting while he carried on a conversation with another clerk. Paid no attention to me, I grabbed a hot drink then left. My husband works at a Maverick in Colorado springs and this type of customer service would make him appalled. Better training with customer service at the end of the day we are the only reason they still have a job.

  Why is it allowed for your employees to express their political views while working? (Wearing political hats and badges) This is very unprofessional as you should never allow employees to mix their job and political views. Very unsatisfactory.

  We come through this area once or twice every year to visit family. Always enjoyed stopping at this location every year. It used to be well cared for. We were last here this March and my wife reminded me that we weren’t too impressed on that visit. We stopped this week and I went to the men’s bathroom. The hand dryer was broke and looked beat. It was literally loose on the wall. Wipe hands on pants. Ok, moving on to get a good cup of coffee for the road. The cold creamer machine had French vanilla and half n half. The French vanilla side looked like the lever was ripped out. The entire machine looked…well, gross. I looked at the coffee machines and felt like they, too, are being run on neglect. To clarify, they looked fine on the outside. It’s because by this point I started questioning the integrity of everything. I looked at the floor and it looked dirty. The open food cooler right by there was pretty bare. It was mid-day on a weekday so it’s not like it was overwhelmed with foot traffic and customers cleaning the place out. I was overcome by a feeling of filth and I walked out. And to confirm, we’re simple folk here. Just want a decent gas station to stop at. We won’t be stopping in anymore at this location.
