- JJJodyJul 16, 20254.0No telling how much $ I spend here, I don’t like to buy stuff from these auto parts and accessories shops. They are over priced. The convenience of buying stuff from them is a plus in a pinch but if I can wait a few days I order online and save 1/2 the amount of money. The last time I bought something from this advanced auto parts store it ran me about $300 for spare of the moment auto dealing detergents and wax. I did get a clay bar kit from a new company that I hadn’t used before. They also had a little palm polish/buffer that is still in the box. I believe it was over priced. The staff/ employees are very customer oriented and helpful. They keep the store clean, and they usually have the answers to questions about what air filters are needed or oil filters. They stopped carrying wind shield stickers/ or logos that say Ford, Chevy, Dodge. I asked and they just stopped carrying them.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
