Great experience here. Chris was easy to deal with, had great communication, and I was informed about each step of the process. Excellent customer service which is the most important part imo

I have thought long and hard before beginning my review and already completed my survey/review directly to Gerber Collision upon their request.
I made slight contact with a deer on the highway in late October 2025. My hood was dented in, and my left headlight has the brackets holding it break.
I reported the damage to Farmers Insurance, who directed me to my closest recommend repair facility which was Gerber Collision in Pueblo, even though I live in New Mexico.
I met with estimator Tina Hahn at Gerber Collision who appeared grumpy and unhappy with life from my very first encounter with her. There was someone else working doing estimates with a big beard who was speaking with customers respectfully; if I could have gotten him as an estimator it would have been a better start.
Tina completed her review noting that my hood had a vinyl wrap on it and my headlights has yellow vinyl protective wraps on them as well. These items were noted on the estimate Tina completed and she did not mention that there would be any issue with those details at all.
Gerber did provide me with some updates along the process at which case in Early November it became clear that there may be an issue with the wrap on the hood. This was my first major disappointment, with there being an issue with the wrap on the hood, why didn't anyone say anything about it until the work was almost completed. If they would have told me in the very beginning that they weren't able to wrap a hood then I would have asked if there were any other options or would have requested a quote from another shop.
The work was finally "completed" and I let Gerber know that I was coming up from New Mexico to pick up my vehicle on November 7, 2025. Upon arrival I immediately noticed that my left headlight was still yellow, and my new right headlight was clear. This was not communicated to me at all that there would be any issue with the headlights. A huge lack of communication and a very apparent issue that is immediately noticed when you look at the vehicle.
I paid and received my key for the vehicle. I then opened the hood of my vehicle and saw bolts not screwed in, just barely put into place on the top of the front bumper. These bolts would have quickly come loose and fallen out causing my intake to also become loose had I driven down the road without inspecting the work myself. I returned back into the business to let them know these bolts weren't even screwed all the way in, and they got someone from the shop to come out and complete that bit of work. (Do they not do inspections when they say the work is complete?) How on earth was this not noticed before I came and found it myself...
Once that was completed I went to start the vehicle and get out of there so I could take the vehicle home and start completing the rest of the work they didn't do. But the vehicle would not start. When they pulled the vehicle to th front from their shop, they left it in accessory mode and the battery had been slowly draining since they parked it. I returned into the business again to ask for assistance in starting my vehicle which has been left in accessory mode. They got someone from the shop to come out and jump the vehicle.
Issue after issue, and Tina never gave me a proper apology or offered any further assistance or recommendations to a shop that could complete the work, wrap the hood for me, get a manager for me to speak to.... Nothing, customer service (from Tina) at this shop is incredibly poor, the service completed by the shop didn't check their own work, and the overall communication was horrible.
Please beware, and consider looking for another shop to get your vehicle repaired.

They kicked me out because they wanted to argue with me that my suspension would not be fixed by insurance. Even though they sent me to them with 100 guarantee with geicos express repair program because someone ran in to my car. They accepted full liability for my damages. And for anyone that doesn't know, the suspension is a part of the car and it was damaged. Not just fender and bumper. But if they are gna argue over something that doesn't concern them just proves how unprofessional this shop really is. Its your choice I would be goin down the street to caliber collision. Thanks for helping find the right people to repair my car.
