  I had the worst experience of any auto shop/mechanic here. When I picked up my car from a collision my hood latch no longer worked, after they did front end repair. They argued either I didn’t tell them it was broken after the collision, or that I did it in the 12 hours I had the car before noticing given they denied any responsibility. Saying I didn’t mention it is extremely concerning given it was in a front end collision. So either they are lying about their “thorough” inspection, or just try to blame their customers for anything they miss. When I called them to handle the situation they were adversarial; before even offering to inspect the car denied it could be their fault. They also said they didn’t work anywhere near the front hood latch. They took off my front bumper, which most people would consider near that area. After talking to my insurance agent, I was convinced to go back. When I went back I was confronted with more denial and ignorance, claiming it was my fault for not knowing exactly what was broken in the collision, as well as trying to hold my car hostage for liability reasons clearly in an attempt to be annoying. They also said they didn’t replace a part they charged me for, an insane claim. Evidently no one has any idea what they are talking about. I took my car to Christian Brothers Automotive, who looked at it same day, and found my hood latch had been bent, likely from whatever tech leaning on it. They also fixed it for free, because they aren’t money grubbing, arrogant and adversarial. Would never recommend going to Gerber Collision for anything. As per federal law you have the right to take your car and get it repaired anywhere, I recommend anywhere but here.

  I would recommend. After months of the repair being made there was a noise it made afterwards. They got the insurance approval and replaced the part.
