My issue is that I rented a full size 4x4 SUV in advance, checked in online the day before, but when I arrived at the store, they didn’t have any full size SUVs there. The gentleman at the counter said he had one on the way, so I waited. When it showed up, they cleaned it and got it ready. Once it was done and they took me outside, I realized it wasn’t a full size SUV, and was only front wheel drive. I was taking some very tall high school boys into the mountains for a football game, which is why I requested this size and type of vehicle in advance. I already own what they were trying to rent me. Since they ended up with no other options, I went home after wasting an hour and had to change my plans. I could understand if I was a walk-in off the street with no advance notice, but I feel Enterprise needs to do better when customers book and check in prior to showing up to provide what was requested.
