  We have been here a couple times and always had great service in the past. However, this last time we took our Tacoma to get an oil change. Right before we left home I popped out the cabin air filter to check if we needed a new one, we did. So I had them replace it while we were getting the oil change. Afterwards, it showed an extra $50 charge for labor to install it. I asked the guy about it because I was shocked. He went on to explain that it was accurate because it takes around 30min of labor to install a new one…. When I know it takes max 1 minute. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find a place that you can trust and this apparently isn’t one of those places anymore.

  Brakes Plus really impressed me. I was tied up and couldn’t make it back to the shop, and they actually brought my vehicle to me when the work was finished. That level of service is rare. They also gave me a great price on both brakes and rotors, and everything was done quickly and professionally. It felt honest, convenient, and stress free from start to finish. I will definitely be returning and recommending them to others. Luke and the rest of the staff are all great.

  Kelly and the staff at Brakes Plus in Johnstown were extremely accommodating and helpful in getting my car serviced. I called because the battery wasn’t starting, but Kelly was able to get me in right away and had battery swapped and was out of there in 45 mins. I checked prides while is was waiting and the price was very good. Would recommend.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING SERVICE I came to Brakes Plus in Johnstown to have my brakes inspected, and they were in terrible shape — literally about to go out completely. I was overwhelmed because I couldn’t afford the repair today, but the manager, Kelly Vecchiarelli, went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. Kelly truly listened to me. She understood that I need my car to get to work and take my kids to school, and instead of turning me away or pressuring me, she showed genuine empathy and made sure the critical safety repairs were taken care of so I wouldn’t end up in an accident. She put my safety and my family’s needs above making a dollar, and that kind of compassion is rare. Because of Kelly, I left feeling safe, supported, and incredibly grateful. I highly recommend this location and will always come back here. They have earned a customer for life. ❤️

  I had an excellent experience at Brakes Plus in Johnstown! The entire team here goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. Kelly, the manager, is absolutely awesome and truly dedicated to making sure every customer is satisfied. It’s clear that the high level of service starts at the top with her leadership. A special shoutout to Levi, one of the service techs - he was fantastic! He was attentive to all my concerns, genuinely likeable, and so courteous throughout the entire process. You can tell he’s really there to satisfy the customers’ needs and takes pride in his work. If you’re looking for reliable auto service with a team that actually cares, I highly recommend this location. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend! 👍
