  I've been taking my 2013 4Runner to Brakes Plus for several repairs and maintenance for the last 4 years. Most of that has been due to the management being very pleasant, easy to work with, not deceptive, and not pushy. Brian especially has always been great. Recently I brought my car in when my rear brakes were making a loud squealing noise. I asked them to check rotors as someone mentioned them being worn the last time. Brake pads were replaced under warranty plus labor and they confirmed twice that the rotors were fine. A week later, they were still making the noise and I brought it back in. Brake pads were replaced again at no cost and they again confirmed the rotors were fine, which I was thankful for. 500 miles later, the sound is still there. I had another mechanic look at them and they immediately noticed the rear rotors needed to be replaced. He showed me the difference between the front and rear rotors and it was clear to even my non-mechanic brain. I still appreciate the management at Brakes Plus, but I'm disappointed from this experience and would recommend some additional training or oversight of the mechanics. Thank you for the past service, but I will be going elsewhere from now on.

  Waited over 5 hours for a full four-wheel brake job. Price was reasonable, but parts had to be delivered twice and there was very little communication about delays. The long wait without updates was very frustrating

  I had a great experience at Brakes Plus. The team was honest, thorough, and took the time to inspect my brakes without trying to upsell me on unnecessary services. They explained everything clearly and made me feel confident about the condition of my car. I really appreciate their transparency and professionalism! Definitely a place I can trust and will return to.

  This breaks plus location is the best! My family has been taking all of our vehicles here for well over ten years. Everyone who works here is incredibly helpful, especially Brian who always keeps us updated - I have always appreciated his transparency. Thank you for all have done and continue to do for us!

  I've been to this Brakes Plus location a few times before and had good experiences. But during this last visit (12/8), it was obvious that Kevin (the general manager) was trying to upsell everything he could. I came in for an oil change and a brake check, as my brakes had been squealing since June (this location checked them then and said they were fine, at 50%) He told me there was nothing he could do about the squeal, that my brakes were at 75%, and that I needed $1900 worth of OTHER repairs on my car. He talked very fast, didn't explain things well, and seemed to be in a hurry for me to approve things. Which, looking back, is classic conman 101. I chose to replace a cracked belt, get the oil change, and Kevin recommended a brake fluid flush. Now, part of this is on me for not doing my research first. But I also think it's gross when mechanics take advantage of that and recommend unnecessary services to get more money out of you. I didn't need to replace the brake fluid. If I hadn't waited and mulled over the rest of his recommendations, I would have been out nearly $2k for things I didn't come in for, while still leaving with the problem unsolved. Not to mention, in the 3-4 times I've been there, there are NEVER quick. Even with an appointtment, it's a 2 1/2 hour wait minimum for basic services and you will have their regulars jump the line and get out in half the time.
