- JBJake BixMar 6, 20261.0Irving “the manager” has horrible customer service and terrible communication skills. When I came to pick up the car that I had already paid for online, he said he required the original card that was used to purchase the rental and said I only paid for the holding fee. This made me confused because I had the receipt for the entire amount so I asked him for an explanation to which he was unable to explain to me what he meant by “I only paid for the holding fee”. He couldn’t give me a coherent answer and just said it’s policy. After I tried to ask for a clearer explanation multiple times, he crumbled under stress and said he’s refusing service to me and is canceling my rental. This was a shocker to me to see how he easily triggered he was. Low emotional control, not how a manger should act. He clearly did not care about me, the customer, at all. I happily took my money to the next rental business and got a car with no issues at all. I don’t believe I will ever be using Sixt again.
