  Went in to get a travel trailer and the whole experience was super smooth and staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great place, and great inventory

  I purchased a brand new camper from Camping World in Colorado Springs at an RV show on January 31st. After driving two hours from Denver to pick it up, I was told they were missing a part that needed to be installed before I could legally take it home — something that should have been communicated before I made the trip. On February 13th, I finally received a call to schedule pickup and rearranged my Saturday to make it happen. Just a few hours later, I was informed the camper had been damaged on their lot and I would not be able to pick it up after all. Four days later, a sales manager called to “discuss options,” but since then I have called nearly every day and sent multiple emails with no response. I am now over a week without communication regarding a $20,000 brand new camper that I still do not have and have no clear plan to receive. Rosie at the front desk has been wonderful and kind every time I call, but unfortunately she is the only one who has been responsive. The lack of urgency, follow-through, and basic customer communication is extremely concerning. This has been a very disappointing experience for what should have been an exciting purchase. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their customer care and accountability.

  Our experience at Camping World was excellent! Our salesman, Schmidty, showed us 5th wheel campers with several different layouts; he showed us how everything worked, what to do if we were boon docking or at a traditional campsite, and what to watch out for in regards to caring for a camper. He and other employees also answered our many, many questions- very patient people! After months of searching we purchased a used camper that's in excellent condition. Shopping at Camping World was a very pleasant experience.

  My first camper was good and they put brake controllers on both my vehicles.But then everything went south when I wanted to upgrade. Waited weeks for the appointment for the brake controllervon a new vehicle then was refused service (liability issue). Salesman contacted me on a unit I really liked. Was waiting for additional info.. Email from manager and I expressed interest and was just told everyone is at an rv show. Now that unit is gone. Wondering if the camping world up north is any better.

  Think of this place as a used car lot, only you'll be spending as much as some people are paying for a house. You are going to be a shined up used vehicle, and if it's like mine, 3-5 things will go wrong that will make you wonder why you even bought a used motorhome. A car salesman will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to sell you a vehicle and get their commission. I call my motorhome, "The Money Pit".
