  Traveling from GA to WY, and we encountered an error message in CO. We contacted Pedersen Volvo in Ft Collins, and they were welcoming, and professional. Spencer in the Service Department went out of his way to make our experience comfortable. This kind of professionalism is why we have purchased 3 new Volvos in the past 8yrs. Thank you Spencer!!!

  I am a precious customer of Peterson Volvo. I bought 2 Volvo's in the past from them. In May of this year after trying to trade my XC60 to Peterson on a new plugin XC90 and they tried to low-ball on my trade. I then bought a new Ford Explorer Platinum loaded. I really like this vehicle except it was a V6 and got low gas mileage. So, with 5400 miles on it, in mint condition I went back to Peterson to try and trade it for a 2026 XC90 T8. Again, they were unwilling to make a trade on a brand new 2026 $80,000. Vehicle. I went to another dealer and they were willing to make the deal with $5000 more for my trade. In addition I received the tax credit, and the $3000 incentive and they threw in the winter mates! Peterson offer me $6000 less, so I took my business to another dealer. Make sure you shop before you buy. .

  Had a good experience until we went to the finance office. There we were heavily pressured to buy a "warranty " package for a 2023 Volvo. They started with a price of $14,500 to add 5 years of coverage, nearly half the price of the car we bought. When we said we were not interested he did some magic and reduced it by half. When we said we still weren't interested he magically found an employee discount coupon that he could apply. When I asked why he started so high he said his job was to make as much money as he could. My interpretation of that was that he was willing to take advantage of anyone gullible enough to fall for his reasoning. We nearly walked away from the deal. I must add that we really liked the salesman we worked with.

  I bought an XC40 from Matthew at Pedersen back in August and have had nothing short of a great experience. I reached out on a whim to ask about a car listed online, and was very straight forward with only wanting to take a look and go over features, and that I wasn’t looking to talk pricing or purchase at the time. Matthew was incredibly helpful and didn’t pressure me at all into buying or sell me on anything I didn’t ask about. Once I decided to move forward with a test drive and financing, Matthew worked with me the same way as before - no pressure, no upselling, no typical “gimmicks”. The pricing was super fair, and the process was really fast and easy. I’ve had the car for a few months now and every time I’ve reached out I’ve got a response just as quick as when I was buying. The only issue I’ve had was some trouble getting a warranty item scheduled to be fixed, but that came down to a simple miscommunication and once again Matthew was able to help me get it resolved All and all, great buying experience and I can’t recommend Pedersen and Matthew enough!

  We bought our pre-owned XC90 here and drove all the way from Wichita because it was the only one we could find that had every single option we wanted. Our salesman, Ryan, went above and beyond to tell me about the vehicle and send videos, etc. He was very personable and made the actual buying process fun. He also let me test out the Bowers and Wilkins in the new EX90 which made me very happy as an audiophile. The reason for four stars instead of five is that their finance manager was extremely pushy and weird about us getting a warranty, even went as far as to say that our car could break down on the drive home, which doesn’t make it seem like they are standing behind a vehicle they’re offering for sale. I don’t regret getting a warranty as I had planned on getting one anyway, but the time spent in his finance office was borderline awful, delayed our trip home by almost an hour (I should also add we already had financing for the vehicle itself) and made me want to run out of the building when we were finished. I also didn’t like how they put their marketing stuff all over the car, including a sticker that I had to look at on the rear window the whole 9-hour drive home. I would go back just for Ryan if I could cut meeting with their finance guy out of the equation
