  I brought my truck in this past week it was making a horrible sound when I would press the brakes thought it was something simple they did an inspection turned out it was the wheel baring was loose which tore into my rear axel as well as damaging the diff seal causing fluid to leak. Jeff, Savannah and John worked very hard to get my axel out took them way longer than they thought but they didn’t give up like most places would and they made it happen which saved me from needing to replace my whole rear end and I appreciate that so much because affording that would’ve been hard on my family. Wanted to say a big thanks for working so hard to make my vehicle safe to drive with my kids and saving us money as well as amazing services and keeping me in the loop by calling and showing me everything every step of the way. Highly recommend this shop amazing people and services.

  Elizabeth community….. you are so lucky to have a new team at your brakes plus location! Savannah is wonderful as you arrive and check-in. Warm smile and great customer service. And, adding John to lead the team is the icing on the cake! As a previous customer of his, I followed him to the Elizabeth store, and so should you!!!!

  I took my old F350 in for front rotors and John the manager had a complete brake inspection done. He took me out to the shop and showed me issues with the rear brakes and a leaking rear axle seal. I had the recommended work done at a reasonable price. I'm an older guy who remembers how shops treated me in the old days with respect and honesty, John runs his shop in that manner and I appreciate his style. I watched Savannah the service advisor assist several other customers and I'm impressed with the way they operate. Based on my experience I can certainly recommend them and will use them again for my other vehicles. Good people!

  Posted five stars BEFORE I left Brakes Plus and BEFORE I got two additional opinions. Never again! Went to Brakes Plus for an oil change and was told my 2 year old battery was corroded and needed to be replaced. So I spent over $400 on a new battery and oil change. Then I was told I needed new control arms because mine were shot and it was a major safety concern. My bushings were broken, sway arm needed fixing. Thousands of dollars worth of work on top of the battery and oil change. I took my car to another mechanic to get a quote and he asked what kind of driving issues my car was having. What kind of noise was it making…I said none. Because it drives fine. I only needed an oil change. So they drove it. Checked it. There’s nothing wrong with my control arms. Bushings aren’t broken. Took it to a THIRD mechanic, same results. NO ISSUES!!! I almost spent over a thousand dollars on something I didn’t need!! Makes me question why the battery was replaced when it could’ve just been cleaned and maintained instead!! BEWARE of being SCAMMED!! Never going back again!! Do not trust them! I thought Tyler had my back and was doing honest work. Not the case!
