When I landed in Durango I had a voicemail stating that they had no cars to fulfill my rental, and that they would not have a car for another few days. When I called Enterprise back they told me they do not keep track of their inventory and to try Avis, which was right next door. I'd suggest just booking through Avis, as this Enterprise location lets you book cars they do not have, so they can deny you minutes before your reservation.

At no point was I offered a vehicle that matched my reservation or provided a partial refund for the downgrade. This felt misleading and disappointing, especially since I chose Enterprise expecting transparency and consistency with vehicle classes. I hope Enterprise reviews how vehicles are categorized and ensures customers actually receive — or are properly compensated for — the class of car they reserve and pay for.
