The team here is the best I’ve worked with from start to finish purchasing a car. Beau in particular went above and beyond.

We walked into the dealership looking to trade my old jeep wrangler. I had already test driven the Volvo XC60 model and knew I liked. We were paired with Kristen for our sales person and she was absolutely incredible!! She streamlined the process so it with the paperwork, test drive, trade in value and sale of the car it only took about an hour and a half. Would recommend 10/10 the service was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this dealership to anyone!! And definitely work with Kristen !

Review Upgrade Addendum: I am revising this review to a 3 because I think not being able to talk to a human is a systemic problem but acknowledging a problem and reaching out means they are concerned. The reason for my addendum is immediately below. My initial review is further down and annotated as such. I received a call from the Manager who is in charge of Cadillac and Volvo. I am somewhat surprised I received a call back but I applaud the dealership for calling back, acknowledging the problem, and asking for a thorough review of my experience. That is rare these days so that would get a 5. I believe the dealership is trying to efficiently address their customers and improve their system with their AI phone system. However, my wife is British and the system seems to struggle greatly with her accent. Still, I understand handling hundreds of calls a day is a difficult task and streamlining that is ultimately probably better for the customer and the dealership. I think the dealership needs to acknowledge that a great number of their customers are probably older and may not appreciate not being able to have an option to talk to a person right away. The manager asked me to give them another chance. I have already delivered my car to another dealer already. However, I believe a dealership that cares enough to ask for a second chance should get that chance so I will give them that opportunity to do that in the sense of fair play. I will update this review again after that experience. Original Review Starts Here: I needed to speak to service. Upon calling ended up in an endless automated phone tree that kept getting hung up. Tried to reach them 3 times. No luck. I ended up calling their competitor MacDonald Volvo in Denver. Amazingly, I was able to talk to a human being and get what I needed scheduled efficiently and have my questions answered so I went there. Rickenbaugh is more conveniently located to our place in Denver. Rickenbaugh's competition is not conveniently located to me but I'll be going there. When I buy a premium brand car I expect to talk to a person and not have my time wasted by inefficient phone trees when I call the dealer.I tried to reach a manager via chat but never did get a call back. We have 2 Volvos right now. An XC90 and a V60 XC. We have been buying Volvos since the early 90's. I'd say we have had somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 over the years. I buy a new fully loaded XC90 about every 18-24 months. There are no Volvo dealers in the state we live so we have to come to Denver or go to Minneapolis. Denver is more convenient. While I have never had the opportunity to see how this dealer actually is, this is one of those times where a poor impression sent me to the other Denver Volvo dealer. The downstream loss of sales on future vehicles and the loss of service revenue on the several Volvo's we have is the consequence. PS: I did get call back from an individual named Sara but I couldn't answer. The voicemail left me a number which I called and sent me to the same silly automated phone system. Subsequently I did speak this person briefly while I was driving to the other dealer. I expressed what I wrote above. PS2: I eventually spoke to Sarah while I was driving to their competition MacDonald Volvo. I expressed the above. She was polite and her response was: "Ok. Thank you Have a nice day. "

I will never buy another Volvo. The lack of investment in both infotainment and underlying hardware is staggering, especially given where vehicle technology and user expectations are heading. Volvo is falling behind fast—and based on my experience, that gap is only going to widen. The remote start implementation is mind-bogglingly bad. If I start the car from my phone, I cannot simply get in and drive—I’m required to turn the car off from the app first and then restart it manually. That makes absolutely no sense from a usability standpoint. The infotainment system constantly lags and freezes, and the key memory regularly fails. I’ll have my key on me, with my wife’s key nowhere near the vehicle, and the seat still won’t adjust correctly. These are basic expectations at this price point—and Volvo consistently misses them. Frankly, it’s embarrassing how little Volvo appears to invest in its software stack and hardware chips compared to competitors. The experience feels outdated, unreliable, and poorly engineered. This was my last Volvo.

Over the years, I have purchased several vehicles and this was the most transparent and smooth vehicle purchase I've ever made. I admit that prior experience left me with trust issues and for the first time, I left a car dealership without feeling like the victim of a shell game! I worked with Kaya. He was personable, professional and there was virtually no pressure. I had one very small issue and it was resolved immediately. Other dealerships should take note. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else to buy a Volvo!
