Don’t go here to get your Intoxalock calibrated. They’ll bend you over. Charging $70 when the standard is $20-30.

Scam artists. Quotes a price and then keeps asking for more money and holds your vehicle hostage if you won't pay it.

The owner of the shop was a theif and a liar. Cost of install should have been $235. He said the was a 4% charge for using a debt card, ok about $9 roughly. He said $290 total, then charged my account $306. He also made a photo copy of my debit card and asked for my pin number which I refused to give him. Install should have taken 5 hours at the very most. It was not ready until 6 plus hours later. I was the only car they were working on. So I had to go back and pick it up today. Then he charged me another $170, which I told him to take out of the money he had already stolen from me. He is also very rude and pushy. He made it seem like it was my fault the car wasn't done on time and tried to rent me a car or charge me a delivery fee. What a crook, I don't know how he is still certified or on bussiness at all.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle.
