His *only* recommendation was to replace the entire cat. I decided to get a second opinion at a muffler shop, and after their inspection they found the issue was a crack in the flex fitting—a simple part to replace at a fraction of the cost. I’m disappointed in the lack of transparency and the assumptions ATR Automotive made about my vehicle. This review would have been very different if they had offered any alternative options or taken the time to identify the actual source of the problem. Careful who you trust and always get a second opinion, especially when the recommended repair comes with a hefty price tag.
