Check in customer service individual- bad attitude, interrupts, and should not have been working.
Check out customer service - fantastic and could not be better.
Jeep Wagoneer had major problems with check engine lights and would automatically go from drive into park (multiple times) which was very disturbing. The vehicle should not have been available for rent and was substandard. Returning and exchanging a bad vehicle is not an option when picking up from DIA and spending a ski vacation in the mountains.
I usually intentionally rent from Alamo, but this experience will make me look elsewhere.
I had a terrible experience from start to finish at the Denver Airport location!
I was given a Jeep Wagoneer that shook violently every time the brakes were applied, making the vehicle feel unsafe to drive. This should never have been rented out in that condition. Trying to get help from customer service only made things worse. It was very difficult to reach anyone, and when I did, the calls were outsourced and hard to understand. They told me they couldn’t help without contacting the original rental location, which created even more delays.
When I tried calling the location myself, no one answered the phone. I left a message at 9:30 in the morning and didn’t get a call back until 4:30 in the afternoon, wasting most of my day dealing with a problem that should have been handled immediately. After finally reaching someone, they said they had to tow a replacement vehicle to me, which didn’t arrive until 10:00 that night.
Unbelievably, the replacement vehicle was another Jeep Wagoneer and in even worse condition. It had a bubble in one of the tires, something that should have been caught before sending it out. The car shook constantly during the entire two-hour drive back to the airport and rattled badly every time the brakes were applied. I have no confidence in the safety or maintenance of their vehicles.
I tried working with the assistant manager, who passed me off to the branch manager, who took days to respond to me with a half solution. Responses were slow, and it felt like my situation was not a priority at all. I was told the district manager would contact me, but that never happened.
Between the unsafe vehicles, terrible communication, and lack of accountability, this was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.
I would not recommend this location or this company to anyone.

What a disappointing experience. I've been using Alamo and their other sister companies for years but my experience here was horrific. Throughout this experience customer service from this location was very spotty by email and even their phone service was not as helpful as I would like.
We had a flat tire in Breckenridge and Alamo sent someone to put a spare and told us to drive all the way back to Denver on the spare or head the opposite direction for one hour to another Alamo location. We drove the maximum amount of miles they told us to drive on the spare back to Denver and told us someone will come to tow the car back to Alamo.
We stopped at a restaurant and told them the location. It took them over 2 hours to send someone and it turned out after those two hours they sent someone to the Breckenridge location we had the spare changed...we were already in Denver and even told them the exact address. They said it would take another 1-2 hours after calling them again.
We could not stay with the car any longer because we had to catch a flight. I spoke to the manager at the Alamo rental before heading to the airport and he said he will waive the spare tire charge and the tow and sent me a final invoice a couple days later.
I was then charged an extra $500 a month later for the tow which I did not ask for...I was told that it was needed and would be waived. This has been a nightmare and has definitely left a bad impression for Alamo and their sister companies. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a rental.

Review for Alamo Rent A Car - Denver International Airport (DEN)
This was my third trip to Denver in the past month, and for the first time I handled the rental process myself. Previously, my husband always managed the bookings, so this was new for me.
With two other rental companies I used recently, I experienced hidden fees and unexpected charges. The amount we agreed to online did not match what was ultimately charged to the card. That created stress and frustration.
With Alamo, everything was clear and transparent. The price agreed upon during online booking fully matched the final charge. There were no unclear deductions or hidden add-ons. Toll roads were charged based on actual usage, not inflated rates like I experienced elsewhere.
The vehicle was clean and practically new — only 240 miles on the odometer. Both pickup and return were fast and efficient. The staff was professional, friendly, and organized — noticeably different from other companies I’ve used.
I have two more trips planned in February and March, and I will be working exclusively with Alamo.

Alright, this will be a long one. Worth the read!
First and foremost, huge shout out to Eddy, Tracy, Sunshine, Doug and the two gentleman working the lot.
From the moment we walked into the business, the team was friendly.
I made a huge mistake and some reason deleted my confirmation email. This is where Tracy came in and was able to find the reservation. She figured it out and got us a vehicle (thank goodness, we didn't have to go all the way to enterprise).
We get to the vehicle, load it up, start adjusting our seats and the passenger seat would not adjust. The lumbar system seemed to be broken.
This is where the gentlemen who were working the lot came in. They confirmed it was broken. He was able to show us a couple options.
During this whole mishap, I was looking over the receipt and saw that it was $130 per day charge. I thought there's no way, I booked that...
Well, I did, Doug was able to show me that I did. I then asked if we could get a vehicle that was a little more affordable.
Luckily we had that option.
Sunshine confirmed and we choose between the three vehicles that the gentleman working the lot picked out.
Overall, thank you team for your hard work.
I also can't forget to mention Eddy! He was the driver from the airport to the rental place. He was extremely friendly, happy to help.
The lot attendant during drop off of the car was friendly, even at 4am! Lol
The driver from rental to airport, was friendly.
