- TSTimbo SliceMar 22, 20235.0Very nice place. Owner or lady works in the front was very pleasant. Nice offerings of both convenience store items and also deli and what looked like a gift area. Lower gas prices at time than most major cities in Colorado so good for a rural area. Also the portapotties in back that mountain gas stations are doing is a good idea. People don’t realize how much plumbing costs private convenience store owners, especially old ones with old pluming in mountain areas. Port a potties cost money too. As long as they’re serviced frequently they’re as asset for the customer or traveler as they can be used easier and they’re a viable option. Better than pay for toilets like some other states the other C word) have.
- RRRyan RaetherJun 5, 20201.0Wow...I just called them and asked what their gas price currently is as it’s a bit out of my way to go there, but worth saving several dollars if it is at its usual much lower price than Salida. The lady told me we don’t give that information out and we never have and hung up on me! Well I have called several times before and have got an answer and usually give them all my gas money. Turning down business and be extremely rude to a frequent customer is just unacceptable to me.
