In this case however there is neither. It's hard to say if the human element of employees or the mechanical elements of their equipment is the failure, perhaps both. If you value your time and hard-earned money, do not go to this place, just go down the road and get get the service you deserve at other auto parts stores.

- PGPatrick GonzalesFeb 10, 20261.0Purchased Diehard battery terminal connectors . They were different than I had used before they tightened from the top. However only one of the connectors clamped tightly to the battery terminal the other one when fully twisted was still loose on the battery terminal. It seems advance auto parts will not refund because I opened it which is the only way to tell that one of them is no good. Very disappointed will stick with oreilly’s in the future they stand behind what they sell.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
