  Super friendly and helpful! They were flexible in working my car in even after having unexpected events come up that made me late for my scheduled appointment! Dustin explained what was wrong with my car and fixed it quickly and didn’t try to do the most expensive option. Very quick service and friendly staff all around! Will definitely return for them to fix my struts soon which was also identified as leaking and needing fixed.

  Recently, my daughter had her brakes serviced at Brakes Plus, and it turned into a dangerous and costly experience. The shop failed to properly secure her rear brake caliper, which led to a complete loss of brake fluid and total brake failure while she was driving. Every time she pressed the brake pedal, fluid leaked out, leaving her with no braking power on all four wheels. Because the issue involved the rear caliper, even the electronic emergency brake was ineffective. I’d like to mention her younger brother was also in the vehicle with her. My children could have been severely hurt or even worse died. As a result, she lost control of the vehicle and suffered damage. The car became undrivable and had to be towed to an Audi dealership, where a trusted mechanic diagnosed and repaired the issue. When I contacted the Brakes Plus manager, the response was extremely disappointing. He repeatedly stated he wasn’t sure he could help since they didn’t have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle themselves. Frankly, after such a serious and negligent mistake, there was no way we were going to risk having the same shop look at the car again. I requested contact information for a regional manager, corporate, and their insurance. I was only provided with the regional manager’s details. While the regional manager eventually agreed to cover the cost of the repairs performed at the Audi dealership, he refused to reimburse the original brake service that directly caused the failure. Beyond the financial impact, this incident caused my daughter to miss work, lose income, and experience severe anxiety about driving. What should have been a routine repair turned into a traumatic and dangerous situation due to clear negligence. It’s extremely concerning that a company specializing in brakes failed at such a fundamental level. This situation has cost both of us time, money, and peace of mind. I would not trust Brakes Plus with any vehicle, and I strongly recommend others take their business elsewhere.

  I need to put this out there because what happened to my daughter could have ended in a tragedy. She took her car to Brakes Plus, and because of their sheer negligence, she ended up in a life-threatening situation with her younger brother in the car. The Incident The shop completely failed to secure her rear brake caliper. While she was driving, the caliper came loose, causing a total loss of brake fluid. Every time she hit the pedal, the fluid just pumped out until she had zero braking power on any of the wheels. To make matters worse, because it was the rear caliper, even the electronic emergency brake failed. My kids were essentially in a runaway vehicle. They could have been killed. She eventually lost control, the car was damaged, and we had to have it towed straight to an Audi dealership just to make it safe to sit in again. The "Service" After the Crash The way Brakes Plus handled this was an absolute joke: Zero Accountability: The manager actually had the nerve to say he "wasn't sure he could help" because they didn't get to inspect the car first. After they nearly killed my kids, there was no way I was letting them touch that car again. The Runaround: I asked for corporate and insurance info; they’d only give me a regional manager’s number. Cheap Tactics: While the regional manager finally agreed to pay for the Audi repairs, they refused to refund the original service that caused the failure in the first place. Think about that: they want to keep the money they charged us for a job that almost resulted in a fatal accident. The Bottom Line Beyond the tow trucks and repair bills, this has been a nightmare. My daughter missed work, lost income, and is now—understandably—terrified to get behind the wheel. It is terrifying that a company whose entire business is brakes can fail this spectacularly on a basic safety check. This cost us time, money, and our peace of mind. Do not trust your family’s safety to Brakes Plus. Take your business literally anywhere else.

  Dustin and his team are great to work with. I have been bringing all my work and personal vehicles here for years. The staff is very knowledgeable and not pushy on selling services. Service is timely and fairly priced, I would highly recommend Brakes Plus in Castle Rock!
