All they did was "elevate" my complaint and I got an email from corporate once again stating the damage is not their fault, even though the site manager admitted it was their fault. They completely insulate themselves from any responsibility of. Do not use any take5 ever!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way that these washes that use brushes can cause significant damage to your vehicle. The top brush ripped my roof rack and cross bars off my vehicle, then dropped it on the hood of my car. I'm aware that things can be damaged, but I did not expect something like this could happen. This also caused all the vehicles in the wash to get off track, and the employees had no idea because there are no safety measures or fail-safes to turn off the wash or sound an alarm when something goes wrong. The only reason they even knew something had happened was because we all started honking, and after several minutes, they finally heard it. The site manager was very polite throughout the entire process and even assured me that he had my back and would help me get the damage to my vehicle covered. He then admitted that they should have verbally instructed me to remove the roof rack before entering the wash. That was all an act, though. After waiting 6 weeks for an update on my claim, I finally reached out to corporate to ask about it. They then had to contact the site manager to get the incident report because it hadn't been submitted. Of course, they are denying my claim. I will never use Take 5 or any wash that isn't touchless from now on. I have used this wash for over a year and haven't had an issue until this, nor has a single employee ever suggested that I remove the roof rack. If they had, I would have. It's lazy and negligent not to help your patrons.
