  Update to response: Kim, I called Corporate while I was still on vacation in CO and requested that a manager contact me. I was told that they would but never received a call. I responded to an email survey, I gave low ratings and explained the circus I just experienced, selected that I would like a phone call... Never received one. Then out of the blue a random $250 charge!? Enterprise has had multiple opportunities to make this right. The only rep that made good effort was Bailey S. from the EGE location at drop off. She waived the bogus fee of $177. Once the $250 is posted I will file a complaint with the CO Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit and The Colorado Department ofRegulatory Agencies, which handles deceptive practices. I will also dispute the charge with my credit card. Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Avon, CO (Near EGE): 0/10. Absolute Disaster. This was, without question, the worst rental car experience I have ever had, and I travel often. I made my reservation based on the EGE airport code, which is how this location advertises itself. What they don’t make clear is that this Enterprise location is 45 minutes away from the airport. As a result, I had to pay $196 out of pocket just for a shuttle to reach the rental facility in Avon. That alone felt deceptive. I reserved a Luxury Elite SUV. Instead of honoring the reservation, the staff repeatedly tried to pressure me into taking a sedan. After pushing back, I was finally handed an old, dirty Chevy Suburban with scratches all over it and less than ¾ of a tank of gas. This vehicle was nowhere near “Luxury” or “Elite.” Things only got worse. They informed me it would cost $177 just to change my drop-off back to the airport—the same airport code they advertised in the first place. At drop-off, the agent waived the fee, acknowledging how absurd the situation was. Then, six days later, I was randomly charged $250 with no explanation. The entire experience was bizarre, misleading, and unacceptable from start to finish. Between deceptive airport marketing, bait-and-switch vehicle practices, surprise transportation costs, and unexplained post-rental charges, this location is a complete mess. This Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car location in Avon, Colorado desperately needs a serious corporate investigation. I will never rent from this location again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it unless they enjoy surprises, hidden costs, and broken promises.

  I want to give a huge thank you to Luke from Avon Enterprise for going above and beyond with his service. I came all the way from Houston, Texas and rented a car in Avon. The car suddenly needed an oil change, the tires were low, and it required a full check-up. Luke immediately stepped in and handled everything for me. He took the car, sent it to Avon Auto & Truck, and personally drove us to our hotel. He even promised that the car would be ready and delivered the next day — and he kept his promise exactly. Luke is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. His customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend anyone visiting Avon to work with him. Thank you so much, Luke, for everything you did!

  Luke H. has been taking care of me for the past few years. He’s always helpful, professional, and kind to his customers. I’ve rented with him from the Avon to the Eagle branch, and now back in Avon. Highly recommended, especially with him on the team! Keep it up!
