Never said hello, the girl who was out of uniform with really nasty looking nails was offended that they came up to the counter but they instantly in Spanish we're willing to help me. This store definitely is profiling their customers and only willing to help a certain demographic it seems. I was very offended that they instantly assumed that due to my skin tone that I spoke Spanish. I won't be going back to this store again or possibly even another Advanced after this experience.
- BIB itchFeb 9, 20261.0Absolutely the worst advanced auto I've ever had the displeasure of going too. Ordered parts online for pick up came in 4 hours later and they were never picked. Staff was more worried about their nails and cell phone than helping customers. They didn't know what products they had or where they were. Asked about touch up paint and they said they didn't have any yet there is an entire wall section for paint.... Didn't have the part and when asked how could we get it they blew me off and just issued a refund with zero attempt to help at all. Just absolutely rude all around and I've worked for Advanced in the past they use to never be like this or have employees so rude, unknowledge about their own store and out of uniform working the counters. I try my best not to have to go to that location but considering this is the 3rd time now with the same nasty employee. They have completely lost my business there is an Autozone that is much more professional and polite a block away, I will be taking all my business to them now.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
