- THTim HeasleyMar 22, 20261.0Ordered online thought it would be easy to come in and pick up my order. Just a simple one item order. I get there walk in the door. There’s a huge sign with the counter that says order online pick up in store and I wait and I wait and the two girls behind the counter.. they completely ignore me and wait on four additional customers that come in after me so I move from that counter and go over to the other counter and the girl says to me when I ask, you don’t man that other counter you have a huge sign there that says to buy online with a counter she says no we don’t do that and I said well maybe you should take down your sign and she explains to me eloquently that she make the rules there I’d say there’s plenty of other shops to go to to buy parts stay away from this one. They have bad customer service and attitude

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
