- NSNenad Sandev2 days ago1.0I booked a vehicle with Sixt trough Expedia on October 28th to be picked up November 21st, so three weeks ahead just to be told today by the manager Irving that I have been blocked and he cannot give me a vehicle.He gave me a customer service number to call stating he doesn’t know what the issue is.After half an hour on the phone with their representatives I was told that their accounting department has me blocked for reasons unknown and it would take 10-15 days to resolve meaning the booking I made three weeks ago will not be honored.After telling this to the manager a got a nonchalant “I’m sorry “. My problem with the whole situation is that in the three weeks from me booking to pick up nobody thought that it might be a good idea to contact me and tell me about the issue, putting me in a position to have to rebook at a much higher rate from a different company.

I returned the car to the agent, nothing was said and no damage reported. 2 weeks later I received an accident repair bill from Sixt for $517.00. No conversation, just a picture with no date or time of the when the damage occurred. They threatened to take me court and ruin my credit. Looks like a company just looking to repair their cars on the customers dime! I had to pay the bill so my rental cost me well over $1,200.00 dollars.

He even remembered my co-worker renting a different car the day before. They were efficient and friendly. It was a great overall experience. I would rent from them again and highly recommend them!
