  Unsagbar schlechter Service. Zunächst mussten wir über 45 Minuten warten, bis wir endlich drankamen, dann wurde uns erklärt, ein Wagen in der gemieteten Kategorie sei nicht vorhanden, sodass wir noch 40 CHF für ein Upsell zahlen mussten. Eine echte Unverschämtheit, pure Abzocke und ganz schlechtes Kino! Im Nachhinein wurde die gleiche Masche wie beim Vorrezensent abgezogen. Angeblich ein Schaden an der Frontscheibe, obwohl keine Vorkommnisse auf der Fahrt stattgefunden haben. Die Frechheit an der ganzen Sache ist, dass der Wagen erst im Nachhinein begutachtet wird und man keine Möglichkeit hat, vor Ort Stellung zu beziehen. Wahrscheinlich möchte man sich nicht mit den Kunden auseinandersetzen und zockt sie dann im Nachhinein ab. Unbedingte Warnung vor diesem Anbieter!!!

  I rented a car from Enterprise in Basel and returned it in Zürich between September 7 and September 10, and my experience upon returning the vehicle was absolutely appalling. The employee inspecting the car pulled out a flashlight and proceeded to scrutinize the bodywork with extraordinary determination, rubbing her fingers over various spots in an apparent effort to identify even the slightest imperfection. Eventually, she claimed to have found two tiny dents, one on each side of the front doors. Here is what makes this experience particularly outrageous: the right front door was already badly damaged, including a large scratch running from one side to the other. Yet the inspection focused on finding these two minor dents. The whole exercise felt less like a fair and professional vehicle inspection and more like a hunt for excuses to charge the customer for damage. I have rented cars countless times around the world over the past 50 years. I have never encountered anything remotely similar, not even in some of the poorest and most remote countries I have visited. I find this conduct deeply suspicious and bordering on fraudulent. A rental company should not make customers feel that they are being ambushed at the end of their rental by an aggressively conducted inspection designed to identify even the smallest imperfections while a vehicle already has significant visible damage. As a Swiss citizen, I find it particularly offensive that a company operating in Switzerland would engage in practices that I consider deceptive, unethical, and completely unacceptable. Customers deserve transparency, fairness, and professional treatment, not an experience that leaves them questioning the company's integrity. I will certainly think twice before ever renting from Enterprise again, or from its affiliated brands, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental, which belong to the same corporate group. I strongly advise other customers to document every inch of their rental vehicle before driving away and to take extensive photographs and videos when returning it.

  Avoid this location if you can. I rented a car at the Geneva Airport and dropped it off in Zurich. The vehicle was already heavily damaged when I picked it up, yet days later, they falsely claimed a charge of $4500+ stating, I caused new damage (a scratch on the hood and a windshield chip that aren't even visible). To make matters worse, their customer service is completely unresponsive—I have tried reaching out to this location multiple times regarding this unfair claim and haven't received a single reply. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional business practices

  This place is a scam, beware all international travellers. My husband and I booked a vehicle which already had lot of scratches and dents. We returned the vehicle in a same state, nothing happened to the vehicle but they stole $4500+ from us claiming there were multiple damages. The photos they shared with us didn’t prove anything either. We have been trying to reach them since then, no luck. After this incident, I came to this page and noticed that almost every other international traveller has been scammed too. I would request enterprise global to look into this franchise and investigate the matter. This location is running a scam on all international travellers. No point of contact, we are SCAMMED SCAMMED SCAMMED BIGGEST SCAM OF $4500. They keep providing the link to contact them, however, no one picks up the phone, we were promised a call back from the zurich location, no call back, its been a month now. Super frustrating irritating.

  Unfortunately, I also had the experience of others with Enterprise in Zurich and will probably stop renting from them going forward. I have picked up the car with a number of scratches and paint chips on it. They were not present in the pick-up report and there was no personnel at the pickup station to verify the condition of the car because it was late in the evening. I have reported the scratches and chips that I could find and take a picture of via their online service. However, after returning the car I received a 600+ CHF repairs bill from them for the scratches and chips that were on the car at the moment of pickup and that I have even reported with their online form. I believe they try to pay for the damage incurred during other rentals with their insurance using clients who did not buy insurance from them.
